Cookie Notice
We keep cookies to a minimum, ask before setting analytics, and never use them for advertising. Here is what we set, when, and how to stay in control.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site work reliably and remember basic preferences. This notice explains how we use them.
How we use cookies
We use a small number of cookies, and we ask before setting anything that is not essential. Strictly-necessary cookies keep the site secure and working, and one remembers your privacy choice. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used and to improve it; nothing analytics-related runs until you choose Accept, and you can change your mind. We do not use cookies for advertising or to build a profile of you.
- Strictly necessary: keep the site secure and reliable, and remember the privacy choice you make (the hl_consent cookie, stored in your browser for up to 180 days). These are always on and are not used to identify you for marketing.
- Analytics (only after you choose Accept): Google Analytics 4, set through Google Consent Mode so it stays off by default, measures aggregated usage such as pages viewed and general location. A small first-party cookie (hl_vid) and related first-party browser storage (hl_j) record how you first reached the site so we can see which channels work; this is held in aggregate and contains no personal details.
- Advertising: none. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and analytics data is never used to target ads.
Managing cookies
You choose whether to allow analytics when you first visit, and you can withdraw or change that choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, which removes the stored choice and lets you decide again. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to keep analytics off.
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set most browsers to warn you before accepting one. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working. Guidance for each major browser is available in its help pages.
Changes
We will revise this notice if our use of cookies changes; the “last updated” date above shows the current version.
