Terms of Use
The straightforward rules for using this site and the basis on which we present speakers and arrange bookings.
Last updated: July 2026
About these terms
These terms govern your use of the Headliner website. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
This website is provided under the trade name Headliner. Headliner is currently operated on a sole-operator basis and is not a separately incorporated company at this time. References to “Headliner”, “we”, “us”, or “our” mean the operator of this site. You can reach us through the request page.
How Headliner works
Headliner is a keynote-speaker bureau operating under a booking-agent model. We help organisations and event planners identify, shortlist, and book speakers. Most speakers we present are represented on a non-exclusive basis; we do not claim exclusivity unless it is expressly stated and true. A speaker's inclusion on the site does not imply their endorsement of Headliner, or any affiliation, partnership, or sponsorship, unless expressly stated.
Submitting a request does not create a booking. A booking exists only once terms are agreed in writing and confirmed for a specific event and date. Headliner facilitates introductions and bookings between you and a speaker or their representative; any speaking engagement is a matter between you and the speaker, and Headliner is not the speaker or a party to the speaker's performance.
Speaker information and fees
Speaker profiles are compiled from public sources and are provided for general information. We work to keep them accurate and current, but details such as topics, availability, and fees can change. Fees shown are public ranges or “fee on request”, and the actual fee for any engagement is confirmed per event. We never publish an invented fee for a real person.
Availability
Availability is indicative until confirmed. A speaker appearing on the site does not guarantee they are available for your date, and inclusion does not imply an endorsement of your event.
No professional advice
The site and its content, including insights articles, topic pages, and cost guides, are provided for general information only and are not legal, financial, or professional advice. Any pricing shown is a general market reference and not a quote. You should not rely on the content as a substitute for professional judgement or a confirmed quote.
Acceptable use
- Use the site lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorised access to it.
- Do not scrape, copy, or republish site content or speaker information for commercial use without permission.
- Provide accurate information when you contact us.
Intellectual property
The Headliner name, brand, site design, and original content are owned by Headliner or its licensors and are protected by law. Speaker names, likenesses, images, book titles, and marks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and editorial purposes only, which does not imply any endorsement or affiliation. Images are official or licensed press materials, used with permission, or otherwise used under applicable rights.
Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that speaker details, fees, or availability are complete or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Headliner is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, your reliance on its content, or any dealing between you and a speaker. Because Headliner facilitates bookings and is not the speaker or a party to the speaker's performance, we are not responsible for a speaker's acts, omissions, or performance at your event. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Headliner harmless from reasonable claims, losses, and costs arising out of your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. This does not apply to the extent a loss is caused by our own breach or negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the site, and you consent to venue in those courts. If you use the site as a consumer, nothing in this section removes the protection of any mandatory law of your home state or country that applies to you.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
