Signature keynotes

What your audience walks away with

  • Outcome

    Strategic Foresight — Building a Futurist's Mindset

The discipline she pioneered, made usable. How to read signals of change early, map plausible futures, and turn them into present-day strategy — the shift from predicting the future to being prepared for it. The framework that underpins everything else she does.

  • Living Intelligence — AI, Biotech & Sensors Converging

Her landmark thesis: artificial intelligence, advanced sensors and biotechnology are converging into systems that can sense, learn, adapt and evolve. What "living intelligence" means for your products, your workforce, and your risk model — grounded in data, not science fiction.

  • The 2026 Convergence Outlook

Webb famously retired her annual trend report and replaced it with a framework built for a world where forces of change collide rather than arrive in sequence. She walks leaders through the ten shifts reshaping industries — Compute Shock, Programmable Biology, the Agentic Economy, the New Labor Equation and more — and what each demands of them.

  • AI Beyond the Hype

A grounded, quantitative read of where AI is actually going — agentic and multi-agent systems, action models, and the path toward more general capability — separating the durable signal from the noise of the cycle. Built for leaders who need to invest wisely, not react.

  • The Future of [Your Industry] — Custom Foresight

Her most-requested corporate format: FTSG's method applied to your sector's 5–10-year horizon, with live scenarios tailored to your strategy questions. Ideal for C-suite offsites and board planning.

The story

Who Amy actually is

Amy Webb is the world's leading quantitative futurist and the founder and CEO of the Future Today Strategy Group (FTSG), a strategic-foresight firm that advises a large share of the Fortune 100. Born in East Chicago, Indiana, in 1974, she earned a degree in political science, economics and game theory from Indiana University, then a master's from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. She began her career as a reporter — at The Wall Street Journal, then for Newsweek in Hong Kong, covering emerging technologies.

In 2006 she founded what became FTSG and, over nearly two decades, transformed strategic foresight from informed opinion into a rigorous, data-driven discipline — establishing the field's foundational methodologies. Her approach doesn't offer speculation; it identifies the earliest signals of change and models them into scenarios and strategy.

For years, that work centered on her annual Emerging Tech Trend Report, downloaded more than a million times a year and a fixture of SXSW. In 2025 she introduced "Living Intelligence" — the convergence of AI, advanced sensors and biotechnology; in 2026 she retired the trend report altogether and replaced it with a Convergence Outlook built for a world where forces of change collide.

Webb is a professor at NYU Stern School of Business, where she teaches an MBA-level strategic-foresight course, and a Visiting Fellow at Oxford's Saïd Business School. She is the author of four award-winning books, including the international bestseller The Big Nine (on the future of AI) and The Genesis Machine (on synthetic biology). She has advised three White House administrations, U.S. federal agencies, Congress, the EU and the UN, and has been ranked among the world's most influential management thinkers by Thinkers50, named by Forbes as one of "five women changing the world," and honored on the BBC 100 Women list.
