Signature keynotes

What your audience walks away with

  • Outcome

Multipliers — Are Your Leaders Geniuses or Genius Makers?

Based on her New York Times bestseller. The research behind Multipliers: how the best leaders amplify the intelligence and capability of the people around them, how "Diminishers" accidentally shut it down, and the five disciplines that turn a leader into a genius maker. The talk that makes every leader in the room re-examine their own impact.

  • Impact Players — Are Your People Contributing to Their Fullest?

Based on Impact Players (2021). The anatomy of the standout contributors who make themselves indispensable — and the mindsets and practices any team member can adopt to do more valuable, higher-impact work. A favorite for all-hands and talent programs.

  • Rookie Smarts — Why Learning Beats Knowing

Based on her Wall Street Journal bestseller. Why the curiosity, humility, and speed of a "rookie" often beat deep expertise in a world where knowledge ages fast — and how experienced professionals reclaim that learning edge.

  • Leading Through Uncertainty

How the best leaders build trust and cultivate learning through turbulent, ambiguous periods — turning uncertainty from a threat into a place teams grow.

  • Leading Remote & Distributed Teams

Leading dispersed and hybrid teams with intention — establishing context, clarity, co-creation, and connection so distance doesn't cost capability.

The story

Who Liz actually is

Liz Wiseman is a leadership researcher, executive advisor, and keynote speaker, and the CEO of The Wiseman Group, a leadership research-and-development firm based in Silicon Valley. She teaches and advises executives around the world and is a guest lecturer at Brigham Young University and Stanford University.

Before founding her firm, Liz spent 17 years at Oracle Corporation, where she was a vice president and served as the global leader for human-resource development at Oracle University. She left to study leadership directly — asking why some leaders seem to make everyone around them smarter while others, often unintentionally, shut that intelligence down.

That research became _Multipliers: How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter_, a New York Times bestseller and the framework that distinguishes "Multipliers" from "Diminishers." She followed it with _The Multiplier Effect_ (applying the idea to education), _Rookie Smarts_ (a Wall Street Journal bestseller on why learning beats knowing), and _Impact Players_ (2021), on the mindsets of the highest-contributing team members. In 2019 she was ranked the #1 leadership thinker in the world by Thinkers50, and she has appeared repeatedly on the Thinkers50 list since. Her research is used inside many of the world's most admired companies — including Apple, Google, Microsoft, Nike, Disney, and Tesla. She holds a bachelor's in business management and a master's in organizational behavior from Brigham Young University.
