Signature keynotes

What your audience walks away with

  • Outcome

The Let Them Theory — Take Back Your Time, Energy & Peace (current flagship)

From the #1 selling book of 2025, Mel teaches the two words that changed millions of lives — "Let Them" — and the essential second half almost everyone misses: "Let Me." She shows audiences how much energy they lose trying to control other people's opinions, reactions, and behavior, and how a simple, repeatable tool frees them to focus on their own goals, relationships, and wellbeing. Funny, moving, and instantly usable, it's the talk everyone in the room is already quoting on the way out.

  • The 5 Second Rule — The Science-Backed Secret to Changing Anything

Mel's signature tool, born from her own lowest point and now used by millions: the 5-4-3-2-1 countdown that interrupts hesitation and forces action before the brain talks you out of it. She explains the neuroscience of why we stall, why "knowing what to do" is never the problem, and how a five-second window can break bad habits, quiet self-doubt, and push people to do the things that actually change their work and their lives.

  • The High 5 Habit — Inspire Yourself and the People Around You

A deceptively simple daily practice of self-encouragement, reframed for leaders and teams. Mel makes the case that how you treat yourself sets the ceiling for how you show up for everyone else, and gives audiences a concrete habit for building the kind of momentum and confidence that lifts a whole team — not just an individual.

  • Building Confidence & Everyday Courage

Confidence isn't a personality trait you're born with; it's built. Mel shows how ordinary people create genuine, durable confidence through small, repeated acts of courage rather than waiting to feel ready — and why that shift is the difference between the people who move and the people who wait.

  • Motivation Is a Myth — The Science of Taking Action

The uncomfortable truth Mel delivers with humor: you are never going to feel like doing the hard thing, so building your life around motivation guarantees you stay stuck. This talk replaces the myth with mechanics — the habits, cues, and countdown tools that get people to act regardless of how they feel that morning.

  • Resilience, Mental Health & Managing Anxiety

Drawing on her own openly discussed experience with anxiety, ADHD, and dyslexia, Mel gives audiences a practical, science-informed toolkit for resilience under pressure — how to work with a stressed nervous system instead of against it, and how to keep showing up in a demanding world without burning out.

  • Getting People to Actually Change — Leadership & Behavior Change

For leaders: how do you get people to adopt the new system, embrace the change, and do the hard thing? Built on Mel's behavior-change research, this session translates her personal tools into a leadership playbook for motivating teams, driving adoption, and turning good intentions into consistent action.

The story

Who Mel actually is

Mel Robbins is a #1 New York Times bestselling author, an award-winning podcast host, and one of the most trusted and most booked voices in personal growth, reaching an audience of roughly 40 million people worldwide. Born Melanie Schneeberger in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in Michigan, she graduated from Dartmouth College and earned her law degree from Boston College Law School in 1994. She began her career in the law — working as a criminal-defense attorney and public defender in New York — before moving into coaching, media, and, eventually, a role as a legal analyst and commentator on CNN.

Her turning point came in 2011, at a moment when her own life had hit bottom, with a TEDx talk called "How to Stop Screwing Yourself Over." In it she introduced a simple idea — a five-second window between an impulse and the excuses that kill it — that would become the 5 Second Rule. The talk went viral and has since been viewed tens of millions of times, and the tool it introduced became her 2017 bestseller, The 5 Second Rule. She followed it with The High 5 Habit in 2021 and, in December 2024, The Let Them Theory, co-written with her daughter Sawyer Robbins — a book that went on to become the #1 selling title of 2025, with more than ten million copies sold and translations into dozens of languages.

Alongside the books, Robbins built one of the largest podcasts in the world. The Mel Robbins Podcast, launched in 2022, has been described as the most shared and followed podcast anywhere, was nominated for the first-ever Golden Globe for Best Podcast, and was recognized among the largest shows on both Spotify and Apple Podcasts. She is the founder and CEO of 143 Studios, a Boston-based media company, and has been honored as a TIME Women of the Year, named to the TIME100 Creators and Forbes' "50 Over 50," and won an iHeartRadio Award for Best Overall Host.

What sets Mel apart on stage is that she has lived what she teaches and refuses to trade in empty hype. She is open about her own struggles with anxiety, ADHD, and starting over, and she pairs that honesty with genuinely science-backed, immediately usable tools. The result is a keynote that is funny and deeply human but sends people home able to do something different the next morning — which is exactly why organizations around the world keep booking her, and why she now brings the same experience to arenas on her global live tour.
