What your audience walks away with

  • Outcome

The End of the World Is Just the Beginning — Navigating Deglobalization

Based on his bestselling book. Why globalization was an anomaly underwritten by American power, why it's unwinding, and how organizations build resilient operations for a more fragmented, regionalized world.

  • A World Without China — The China Wars

China's demographic and structural fragility, why Zeihan forecasts a hard decline, and what its unwinding means for supply chains, manufacturing, and global markets.

  • The Future of Global Energy

Energy security in a fracturing world — supply, shocks, the shale legacy, and what leaders in every energy-dependent sector should plan for.

  • No Assembly Required — The Future of Global Manufacturing

Reshoring, near-shoring, and the regionalization of supply chains: where industry rebuilds, who wins, and how to position for it.

  • Geopolitics for Financial Professionals — Finance in an Age of Less

The macro map for capital-markets audiences: how demographics, energy, and the end of free trade reprice risk and opportunity.

  • The Future of Global Agriculture — Amber Waves of (American) Grain

Food security, fertilizer and input geopolitics, and why agriculture becomes a strategic advantage in a deglobalizing world.

The story

Who Peter actually is

Peter Zeihan was born in 1973 and raised in Marshalltown, Iowa. He studied political science at Truman State University and completed a postgraduate diploma in Asian studies at the University of Otago in New Zealand, then began his career with the U.S. State Department in Australia.

For roughly twelve years he worked at Stratfor, the private geopolitical-intelligence firm, rising to vice president and helping build the analytical models that made its reputation. In 2012 he founded Zeihan on Geopolitics, his own firm, to deliver custom analysis and executive briefings. His clients span energy companies, financial institutions, agricultural organizations, business associations, universities, and the U.S. military — anywhere leaders need to understand how geography, demographics, and energy will move their world.

Zeihan is a New York Times bestselling author whose work marries the realities of geography and population to how global politics move markets. His books — _The Accidental Superpower_ (2014; 10th-anniversary edition, 2024), _The Absent Superpower_ (2017), _Disunited Nations_ (2020), and _The End of the World Is Just the Beginning: Mapping the Collapse of Globalization_ (2022) — have drawn endorsements from figures as varied as Mitt Romney, Fareed Zakaria, and Ian Bremmer. Beyond the page he reaches a large public audience through a newsletter with 200,000+ subscribers and a widely followed video channel, and he has announced his first work of fiction.

What sets Zeihan apart on stage is the combination: rigorous, model-driven forecasting delivered with a fast, funny, plain-English style that makes a genuinely heavy subject land — the reason he consistently earns top ratings from the audiences he addresses.
