Grant Cardone is an entrepreneur, sales trainer, real estate investor, and author whose work on sales and ambition has reached a global audience. Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, in 1958, he studied accounting at McNeese State University and began his career in sales, an apprenticeship on the floor that became the foundation of everything he later taught.

He built his reputation first as a sales trainer, founding Cardone Training Technologies, whose programs have been used by companies and individuals around the world. He went on to found Cardone Capital, a real estate investment firm focused on multifamily property, and to build a portfolio of business ventures spanning training, media, and live events. Along the way he became a bestselling author, most notably of The 10X Rule: The Only Difference Between Success and Failure, which introduced the goal-setting and execution framework now tied to his name, alongside Sell or Be Sold, If You're Not First, You're Last, and Be Obsessed or Be Average.

Cardone reached a wider audience through television, including Discovery Channel's Undercover Billionaire, and through one of the largest personal followings of any business figure, with millions of followers across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms. He hosts large-format live training events under his 10X banner and remains an active voice in national business media.
