Signature keynotes

What your audience walks away with

  • Outcome

Young Forever: The Emerging Science of Longevity

Built on his number-one bestselling book, this is the talk audiences ask for most. Dr. Hyman walks a room through what he calls the emerging science of aging, the "hallmarks" that drive how we grow older, and his argument that the food we eat, how we move, sleep, and manage stress, and better testing can meaningfully shape our healthspan, not just our lifespan. Optimistic, practical, and full of takeaways people can act on the next morning.

  • Food as Medicine

His signature thesis, made vivid for any audience. In Dr. Hyman's view, food is the single most powerful lever we have over chronic disease, for better or worse, and the choices on our plates matter as much as anything in the medicine cabinet. A motivating, science-forward session that reframes nutrition as a serious health strategy for individuals, families, and organizations.

  • Food Fix: Fixing Our Health, Our Economy, Our Communities, and Our Planet

Drawn from his book and his Food Fix Campaign, this keynote zooms out from the individual to the system. Dr. Hyman connects what we eat to public health, the economy, agriculture, and the environment, and makes the case that fixing the food system is one of the highest-leverage moves a society can make. Ideal for policy, food, agriculture, and mission-driven audiences.

  • Big Data, AI, and the Science of Creating Health

The future-of-medicine talk. Dr. Hyman shares how continuous testing, big data, and AI (the ideas behind Function Health) could shift medicine from reacting to disease toward actively creating health. A forward-looking session for healthcare, technology, and innovation audiences on where personalized, data-driven health is heading.

  • Disruption Is the Future of Healthcare: Consumer-Driven and Values-Based

His argument that healthcare is being reinvented around the consumer, around prevention, and around a more personalized, root-cause approach. Dr. Hyman draws on his experience founding a clinic, a Cleveland Clinic center, and a health-technology company to sketch what a more proactive, values-based system could look like. Built for healthcare leadership, payers, and innovation audiences.

The story

Who Mark actually is

Dr. Mark Hyman is a practicing family physician and one of the world's most recognized leaders in functional medicine, longevity, and nutrition. Born in New York in 1959, he studied Asian Studies at Cornell University, earned his medical degree from the University of Ottawa, and completed his family-medicine training at the Community Hospital of Santa Rosa in California. After early years in family and emergency medicine and nearly a decade as co-medical director at Canyon Ranch, he founded The UltraWellness Center in Lenox, Massachusetts, where he continues to practice.

Dr. Hyman has spent his career building institutions around a single conviction: that much chronic illness can be prevented, and often reversed, by treating the root causes of disease rather than only its symptoms. In 2014 he founded the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine, one of the first efforts to bring functional medicine into a major academic health system. He serves on the board of the Institute for Functional Medicine as board president of clinical affairs. In 2021 he co-founded Function Health, a consumer health-testing company where he is Chief Medical Officer, and which has grown rapidly as it works to make deep, data-driven testing widely available.

He is the author of 16 New York Times bestsellers, including the instant number-one bestseller Young Forever, along with Food Fix, The Pegan Diet, Eat Fat, Get Thin, The Blood Sugar Solution, and many more. He hosts The Doctor's Farmacy (also known as The Dr. Hyman Show), one of the most-downloaded health podcasts in the world, with hundreds of millions of downloads and regular conversations with leading voices in medicine, science, food, and policy.

In 2025 he was named to the TIME 100 Health list of the most influential people in health, and he is a frequent presence in national media. Today he speaks around the world to healthcare, corporate, longevity, and food-system audiences, translating decades of clinical experience and a fast-changing science of health into ideas people can act on. He lives in the Berkshires of Massachusetts.
