Signature keynotes

What your audience walks away with

  • Outcome

Thriving in 2030 and Beyond — What Leaders Must Know (current flagship)

A strategic-foresight keynote on the technological shifts leaders must anticipate now to stay resilient into the next decade. Bovell maps how AI and emerging technologies are redrawing business models and where competitive advantage is quietly moving — so your leadership team leaves knowing what to prepare for, not just what to fear.

  • AI and the Future of Work

How artificial intelligence is reshaping jobs, skills, and human-machine collaboration — and what individuals and organizations must actually do to prepare for a changing workforce. Practical, grounded, and built for teams that have to make workforce decisions this year, not in some distant future.

  • AI and the Future of Education

If we assume students are already using AI at home, the classroom has to change. Bovell lays out what redesigning curriculum, assessment, and teaching looks like in an AI world — and why the most important skills for the future are often the ones we can foster for free.

  • AI's Impact on National and Economic Security

How emerging technologies collide with geopolitics, infrastructure, and economic systems — the risks, the norms, and the strategic bets leaders and policymakers should be making now. Drawn from her UN and ITU advisory work on cybersecurity and digital inclusion.

  • Ethical Innovation & Responsible AI

Building tomorrow's technologies "on the right side of history": algorithmic bias, inclusion, and the ethics of AI systems, grounded in the twelve-principle AI Code of Ethics developed by WAYE's Young Leaders Board. A pragmatic framework, not a moral lecture.

  • Diversity & Inclusion in an AI-Powered Future of Work

Why you cannot design the future without the people who will live in it — and how to bring new faces to the table in tech before the next wave of technology hard-codes today's blind spots.

The story

Who Sinead actually is

Sinead Bovell is a technology futurist and strategic foresight advisor, and the founder of WAYE — Weekly Advice for Young Entrepreneurs — an organization that helps prepare the next generation of leaders for a world radically transformed by technology. A first-generation Canadian now based in New York City, she is best known for translating the fast-moving world of artificial intelligence, the future of work, and emerging technology into clear, practical foresight, a gift that led Vogue to call her "the AI educator for the non-nerds."

Her path to futurism is unusual. After earning a BBA in finance and chemistry and an MBA in strategic management from the University of Toronto's Rotman School, Bovell began her career as a management consultant before becoming a working fashion model in New York. It was from inside the fashion world that she wrote a now-famous 2020 Vogue op-ed arguing that artificial intelligence would eventually take her job — a prediction that has since started to arrive as AI-generated models enter major campaigns. She left modeling to build WAYE, which has gone on to educate more than 300,000 young entrepreneurs and leaders around the world and whose Young Leaders Board authored a twelve-principle AI Code of Ethics.

Today Bovell is a 14-time United Nations speaker who has addressed presidents, royalty, and Fortune 500 leaders, and serves as a strategic advisor to the UN's International Telecommunication Union on digital inclusion. She is a regular technology commentator for CNN, NBC, CNBC, CBC, Bloomberg, and The Today Show, and hosts the podcast "I've Got Questions with Sinead Bovell." Her work has been recognized with the Mozilla Rise 25 award for responsible AI, a place on AfroTech's Top 50 Voices Shaping the Future, Refinery29's "Top Ten Black Women Changing the Game," and a "Digital Trailblazer" honor — and has been featured in Wired, Vogue, and the Toronto Star. Across every stage, her message is the same: the best thing we can do about the future is prepare for it.
