What your audience walks away with

  • Outcome

Designing Your Rich Life (current flagship)

The anchor idea behind his books, Netflix show, and courses: your "Rich Life" isn't a number, it's a specific, personal vision of what money should buy you. Ramit walks audiences through defining that vision for themselves — then reverse-engineers the financial system that funds it, so money becomes a tool for living fully instead of a source of stress.

  • The Psychology of Money and Behavior

Money problems are rarely math problems — they're psychology problems. Ramit unpacks the "money scripts" people inherit from family and culture, the guilt and avoidance that keep smart people stuck, and the specific behavior-change techniques that make new financial habits actually last.

  • The Conscious Spending Plan — Spend Extravagantly, Cut Mercilessly

His practical, non-restrictive alternative to budgeting. Ramit shows audiences how to automate the parts of their financial life that don't need daily attention, so they can spend — without guilt — on the handful of things they truly value, while cutting costs ruthlessly everywhere else.

  • Money and Relationships — Talking About Money as a Couple

Drawn from his book and podcast Money for Couples, this talk gives audiences the scripts and structure to finally have productive money conversations with a partner — reconciling a saver and a spender, aligning on big purchases, and building one shared Rich Life instead of two competing ones.

  • Why Entrepreneurs Win

His keynote for business and entrepreneurship audiences: the real difference between people who successfully launch a business and the far larger group who spend years "researching" one — drawn from a decade of coaching students through his Earnable and GrowthLab programs.

The story

Who Ramit actually is

Ramit Sethi is one of the most recognized voices in personal finance, known for turning psychology and behavior science into simple, practical systems for building wealth. He started I Will Teach You To Be Rich as a blog while a student at Stanford University in 2004, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Science, Technology & Society and a master's degree in Sociology. What began as a side project became the New York Times bestseller I Will Teach You to Be Rich (2009, updated 2019), a book that has sold more than a million copies and remained on bestseller lists more than a decade after its original release.

Today, I Will Teach You To Be Rich reaches more than a million readers a month with advice on money, careers, negotiation, and psychology. Ramit is best known to a wider audience as the host of Netflix's How to Get Rich (2023), where he worked directly with people across the country to fix their relationship with money — from paying off debt to navigating a shared bank account. He is also the host of the Money for Couples podcast, where he coaches real couples through the money conflicts that quietly strain so many relationships, and the author of the 2024 New York Times bestseller Money for Couples, which lays out a ten-step plan for couples to build a shared "Rich Life" together.

Ramit's core philosophy rejects restrictive budgeting in favor of what he calls the Conscious Spending Plan: automate the financial responsibilities that don't need daily attention, then spend extravagantly — without guilt — on the things that matter most, while cutting costs mercilessly on the things that don't. He teaches a companion track for entrepreneurs through his Earnable and GrowthLab programs, and in November 2025 launched an 11-episode "Financial Wellness" series with MasterClass, bringing his psychology-first approach to money to an even broader audience.
